What to Prep?

  • 30g Peach gum (dried)
  • 30 g Dried longan
  • 4–5 pcs Water chestnut (diced)
  • 2 pcs White fungus (small size)
  • 20 g (adjust to taste) Rock sugar
  • 1 L Water
  • 1 tbsp, too steep at the end Goji berries
  • 200 ml (added before serving) CARNATION® Evaporated Creamer

How To Cook?

1. Clean and soak the peach gum in plenty of water for 8–12 hours until it expands and softens. Rinse thoroughly and remove any impurities such as bark fragments.
2. Bring 1 litre of water to a gentle boil. Add the dried longan and simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Add the soaked peach gum to the pot and simmer for another 10 minutes. Be careful not to overcook to prevent it from dissolving.
4. Stir in the rock sugar and let it dissolve completely. Turn off the heat and add the goji berries, letting them steep for a few minutes to release colour and aroma.
5. Before serving, drizzle CARNATION® Evaporated Creamer into the pot to balance the sweetness with creamy richness.
6. Optionally, garnish with a few goji berries or a slice of red date before serving.
